Base Command Manager / Bright Cluster Manager Release Notes

Release notes for Bright 7.0-11

== cmdaemon ==

* Remove all 0-length consolidators when upgrading from 6.x, they do not work in 6.x but prevent startup in 7.0
* Added: option (AdvancedConfig:MonitoringUseExecutionTimestamp=1) to force monitoring data to be stored with the timestamp (start+end/2) of script execution instead of the timestamp it was intended to run. This will make the timestamps less uniform (for plotting), but will be more accurate
* Added: AdvancedConfig: MonitoringSampleThreads=N allowing for metrics to be sampled in parallel. Defaults to 0 - all metrics are sampled in sequence
* Added: option to use any consolidator for historic data while plotting
* Improved: support for multiple timestamps from a single collection script
* Updated: megaraid healthcheck: raised timeout for MegaCli commands, report if MegaCli commands fail.
* Fixed: possible crash, during cmd -i, if monitoring database caching is turned on
* Fixed: monitoring filter: add no-data for metrics which have never been sampled
* Fixed: update of images on provisioning nodes triggered without actual file changes
* Fixed: remove temporary rsync secret file after provisioning
